Description
Although prior to D-Day, many of the M42 jump suits recieved additional 'modification' such as reinforcement patches on the elbows and knees, many paratroopers jumped into Normandy in these unreinforced versions. This uniform was eventually replaced with the M43 after D-Day, however, many veterans chose to keep their M1942 uniforms as a status symbol to distinguish them from other soldiers!
These WW2 US Airborne M1942 Jackets are perfect for US Paratrooper reenactment - pair them up with our WW2 US Airborne M1942 Trousers!
