Halloween Giveaway 2024

Up for grabs is this Awesome Original Army surplus .50 cal ammunition storage tin, customised by our very own Adrian. And to top it off, we have filled it full of candy ready for Halloween*. Not only that, the lucky winner will receive a voucher for 5% off their next purchase. To enter, head over to Instagram or Facebook, tag a friend and tell us how many sweets you think are in the tin. All the correct answers will be put into a draw, and a winner will be picked at random. Only 1 entry will be taken from each person. This will be based on the comment timestamp with the earliest entry being taken.

The competition will end 11/10/2024 at 15:00 BST. The draw will take place on 11/10/2024 at 16:00 BST live on Instagram The customisation features an apocalyptic style fake blood splatter and hand print design. There is a green gas mask design sprayed onto one side of the tin with the script 'Danger'. The other side has a bio-hazard sign next to the text 'do not enter'. Yellow and black hazard tape has been used to further embellish it. We believe it came from the US Army, although this tin design is used by many other countries so the country of issue may vary. It is used but is still in a decent condition.

Terms & Conditions

• For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, "The Promoter" refers to “Epic Militaria” whose Instagram handle is @epicmilitaria. The "Prize" refers to “Original .50 Cal. Ammo Can - Danger Do Not Enter + sweets inside + 1 x 5% off voucher – Shipping included”
• We are unable to send the sweets outside of the UK. If an overseas winner is chosen then they will receive the ammo tin and the discount code without the sweets.
• By entering the competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. All entries must be received by 11/10/2024 at 15:00 BST. The draw will take place on 11/10/2024 at 16:00 BST live on Instagram, where a name will be picked at random from all of the correct entries.
• The winner will be contacted via Instagram or facebook depending on entry method. If the winner fails to respond within 5 days the prize is automatically forfeited. The promoter retains the right to either redraw for a new winner or end the competition.
• No purchase necessary. Winners will not be required to pay to enter the competition.
• Entrants must be over 18 years old on the date of their entry.
• Employees, family or friends of The Promoter are not eligible to enter.
• Instagram or Facebook, or any other platform are not in any way affiliated or involved in the competition.
• Only one entry per person per competition will be accepted. If there is more than 1, the first entry will be counted only. Confirmed via timestamp, if no time stamp is available, none of the multiple entries will be counted.
• Each entrant shall enter the competition via Instagram or Facebook by tagging another Instagram or Facebook user in the comments of the specified post by @epicmilitaria along with their guess of how many sweets are in the can.
• The names of all correct entries will go into a “pot” and 1 name will be drawn from the “pot”; the drawn name will be the competition winner. The Prize will be awarded to a randomly selected, The Promoter will not be held liable if the named prize becomes unavailable or cannot be fulfilled.
• The Promoter will not be held liable for any failure of receipt of entries. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid.
• To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter’s liability under or in connection with the competition or these terms and conditions shall be limited to the cost price of the Prize in question.
• To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions, the competition or any Prize for any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by a participant even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the participant and the promoter and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.
• Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. Where a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the promoter reserves the right to substitute that prize for a prize of equal or higher value.
• The name, address, email address and phone number of the winner must be provided to The Promoter if requested and will be shared to enable fulfilment of the Prize.
• In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond The Promoter’s reasonable control, the promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice.
• The Promoter's decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
• The winner’s name and social media username may be posted on the social media profiles of The Promotor after the winner has been selected.
