Description
These WW2 US Reinforced Airborne M1942 Trousers are meticulously crafted reproductions of the original trousers issued to American paratroopers during World War II. First worn during Operation Torch, these trousers were designed to meet the demanding conditions faced by paratroopers who needed reliable and practical uniforms for combat. The M1942 trousers feature reinforced knees to withstand the wear and tear of airborne operations, making them both functional and historically accurate.
The trousers include Olive Drab leg ties, as famously used by the 82nd Airborne Division, and offer a range of practical pockets, including snap-button cargo-style pockets on the legs, rear buttoned pockets, hip pockets, and a knife pocket for added convenience. A 5-button fly and belt loops ensure a secure fit, while the overall design remains true to the original specifications.
This uniform was eventually replaced with the M43 after D-Day, however, many veterans chose to keep their M1942 uniforms as a status symbol to distinguish them from other soldiers!
These WW2 US Airborne M1942 Trousers are perfect for US Paratrooper reenactment - complete the look with our WW2 US Airborne M1942 Jackets.
