WW2 US Re-inforced Airborne M1942 Jacket
Two years in the making, keep your US impression flying high with Epic Militaria's own, excellent quality reproduction WW2 American M1942 Airborne jackets! The M1942 was first issued to paratroopers taking part in Operation Torch, and these practical uniforms met the needs of paratroopers who had to jump into enemy territory under combat conditions.

- Reinforced elbows
- Strengthened pocket seams (which addressed issues in jumps prior to D-Day)
This uniform was eventually replaced with the M43 after D-Day, however, many veterans chose to keep their M1942 uniforms as a status symbol to distinguish them from other soldiers!
