WW2 US Unreinforced Airborne M1942 Trousers
Keep your US impression flying high with Epic Militaria's own, excellent quality reproduction WW2 American M1942 Airborne trousers. The M1942 was first issued to paratroopers taking part in Operation Torch in 1942, designed specifically to meet the needs of paratroopers, with plenty of pockets, sturdy material, and a looser fit for extra mobility. The initial M42s were found to be lacking in durability, often tearing at the crotch or pockets, leading to units modifying their uniforms before D-Day with olive canvas, the iconic "reinforced" M42s. Thankfully our reproductions are not as easy to destroy as the original M42s, so you can reenact those paratroopers who didn't have their uniforms reinforced before being replaced with M43s after D-Day.
