6th Flotilla U-Boat Badge - Hundius
In stock
Great quality reproduction of the 6th Flotilla U-Boat Badge.
The 6th Flotilla was assigned 91 different U-Boats during its active years, and was named after Kptlt. Paul Hunduis, a WWI Commander who sank 67 ships over 20 patrols. The flotilla was based at Kiel before WW2 when it was disbanded, but was then re-introduced in 1941 in Danzig as a training fleet. It later became a combat fleet, and was based in St. Nazaire on the north-western coast of France.
The badge features the U-Boat upon a Viking Prow, also known as a Dragon Head from Norse or Viking ships. The reverse has a pin for fixing.
Brand new, quality badges with the emblem of the 6th Flotilla.
