Great quality reproduction of the 13th Flotilla U-Boat Badge.
The 13th Flotilla was based at Trondheim in Norway from its introduction in 1943 until the end of the war in 1945. It comprised of over 50 VIICs and VIIC/41s, and went through a mass reshuffle in 1944 when many German ships fled France for Norway.
Based in Trondheim, Norway, it was from Norse history that the design of the Viking Ship was taken for the emblem of the Flotilla. It features this ship upon the Cross on the front, with a pin on the reverse for fitting.
