Worn by members of the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War 2, these collar discs proudly display the winged dagger insignia. During the war, collar discs were made as a single piece to save materials. However, in the post-war era, they transitioned to a two-piece design, allowing for the insignia to be detached from the disc.
