Description
The 56th London Division, also known as the 'Black Cats', was an infantry division formed in 1908 and reactivated during the Second World War. It saw extensive action across the Middle Eastern and Mediterranean theatres of combat, taking part in many notable battles in such varied places as Naples, Anzio and Egypt, to name only a few.
Made from soft red wool and featuring an embroidered black cat, these patches have been designed with historical accuracy in mind. Measuring only 6cm x 4cm, and including a period-correct raw edge finish, they are the perfect item from which to build your wider Second World War impression.
A wonderful tribute to a fantastic division. You won’t want to pass these by.
