Description
Formed in 1941, the British 1st Guards Armoured Division quickly earned a reputation for courage and effectiveness. First seeing action during the D-Day landings of June 1944, the division’s heroic efforts included being the first Allied unit to destroy a German Tiger II tank. After the war, the division returned to its infantry role, but its legacy as a formidable armoured force endures to this day.
Our reproduction patches have been painstakingly crafted to be as authentic as possible to the original design. Made from durable wool, with an embroidered white eye set against a blue background and enclosed by a red shield, these patches are finished with a raw edge, staying true to the style worn by the division. Measuring 6cm x 5cm, they are perfectly suited for display or as part of a uniform for a true WW2 impression.
A fitting tribute to the British 1st Guards Armoured Division. Secure your pair today!
