Authentic reproduction WW2 American Airborne riggers pouch with Tie-Up closure.

Please note: Our latest batch of pouches uses white paracord instead of the tan cord shown in the current pictures.

These US Army riggers pouch slide onto your pistol belt. They were designed to hold grenades, ammunition or other essential tools needed by airborne troops jumping into battle. This pouch can be seen beside the lift-the-dot medium and large variants in the image to the left. American WWII Paratroopers often wore 2-3 of these pouches around their waist.

Riggers pouches were produced at a unit level, naturally leading to some variation. The lift-the-dot type fastening was more commonly found during the North Africa and Italian campaigns, though they continued to be used during D-Day and Operation Market Garden. The tie-down variant was more common during the later stages of the war.

Measures approximately 4" x 4¾" x 2".

Great quality Airborne Rigger Pouches, and a great addition to any Airborne reenactor's kit.
