Pineapple Grenade - MK II Yellow Band
Reproduction Mk. II fragmentation grenades, more commonly known as pineapple grenades. This grenade was a standard issue for the US military during both WWII and the Vietnam War.
The Mk II first appeared in 1918 after the brief and unsuccessful use of the MK I grenade (available here).
Each MkII Pineapple grenade features
- Removable head with replica fuse
- Removable Pin (replaceable with care as originals are designed to be replaced!)
- Removable lever
- Correct length silver spoon lever.
- Correct 40x fragments
- Heavy 500g weight
- Green painted body.
- Yellow band around the neck.
- Hole in the base to show it is empty and a replica
