British Webley .455 Holster - Dark Brown Leather
An excellent leather Webley Service Revolver holster with a dark brown finish.
This quality Webley holster is made with thick, dark brown leather. It features a loop on the rear for feeding through a belt, as well as a separate hook to ensure the holster doesn’t move around. This holster is appropriate for all models of the famous Webley Service Revolver; however it is most suited to the Mk VI model on account of its long six inch barrel.
The Mk VI was first issued in 1915 and was the standard sidearm of British and Commonwealth forces throughout the First World War and until 1923. Due to its popularity and the vast surplus of revolvers produced during the war, the Webley Mk VI remained in circulation amongst British Armed Forces throughout the interwar period and during the Second World War. It was officially retired from service in 1963. The Webley Mk VI was also used by many police and military units around the world.
