IRAQ Op-Telic Medal with Clasp

This is an exquisite replica of the Iraq Op-Telic Medal and is ideal for the collector or as a replacement.

This medal is awarded to men and women who have served at least 30 continuous day service on Operation Telic in Iraq or other certain countries within the Middle East. This service must have been spent in the build up and during the Iraq Conflict in 2003. The edition of the medal also comes with the Jan-Feb clasp, which was additionally awarded for 7 days continuous service during the initial military operations taking place between 19th March and 28th April, 2003.

The front of the medal features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, and on the back you find the Lamassu, a sculpture which dates back to Assyrian times, above the 'IRAQ' text. It is supported by the ribbon featuring the narrow stripes in the colour of the Iraqi flag, bordered by the light brown chosen to represent the landscape of Iraq.

These are stunning new productions and the only difference form the originals is that these have a discreet 'copy' written on the reverse side of the medal, this can clearly be seen in the pictures.
