Part of our Premium line of WW2 German uniforms, offering a superior finish and colour of wool as well as cut and finish. All of the small details such as markings on buttons and buckles to material and thread colour come together to set this range apart from other reproductions on the market.

A superb reproduction of the WW2 Officers Jodhpurs in Field Grey wool. Around the waist are belt loops, front and rear buttons for suspenders and a four-button fly secured with a metal hook and eye fastening. Each hip features a slash pocket secured with a button as well as one rear pocket and a front watch pocket. At the bottom of each leg are lace ties that fit into metal eyelets, as well as 3 final buttons. These trousers are tapered to fit inside officers jackboots. The style was made popular among officers as traditional cavalry units became less common heading into the 20th Century, making commission and the breeches associated with it highly coveted.

There is much discussion among reenactors as to the best material to use in woollen uniforms, from those who prefer a pure wool construction to various blends with polyester and more. For our Premium Uniform range, we have settled on a 70% wool, 30% polyester blend. Made to spec from the start, we use quality wool that hasn't been recycled from another process, before dying to an accurate shade with a polyester blend which matches the weight and feel of the material. With these managed steps and materials we are left with a repeatable quality and finish without the large colour variations between batches sometimes seen in other uniforms. We are confident these uniforms use some of the best commercially produced field grey wool material available.
