Late into the war, four new classes were introduced to the General Assault Badge award, which recognized combatants who had been part of numerous combat engagements. They used the same criteria to determine these engagements as the standard General Assault Badge, with length of service in Russia also added into the equation.
These badges feature the familiar design of the General Assault Badge, but with the addition of the number 100 below the blackened eagle encircled by the golden wreath. They also feature the correct vertical pin on the reverse alongside the JFS maker's mark.
