Description
These greatcoats are meticulously detailed reproductions of those worn by the German Heer, in the mid/latter periods of the Second World War. They have been developed directly from an original, and have a much higher wool content than the majority of other reproductions. The 80% wool manufacture gives the great coat a much more authentic feel when worn, making these some of the best reproductions around.
The long coats are identifiable by their field grey collars, an economisation from the dark green collars of the earlier M36 version. The front of the coat is finished with a series of green pebbled buttons, and the two exterior pockets provide ample storage for your pocket litter. 15cm turn-back cuffs allow you to adjust to how you want the coat. Finally, there is a shoulder board button and loop on each shoulder for epaulettes. This product comes with White epaulettes.
Our meticulously detailed reproductions are some of the best on the market and a must-have for any German Heer impression.

The Term M40 was never designated by the Wehrmacht but is given to the different versions of the 1936 Model uniform. There isn’t a whole lot of difference between the M36 And M40 uniforms other than their economisation of certain features.
