WW2 German M40 Field Grey Wool Tunic
The M40 tunic was initially issued in 1938 and remained in service until the end of the war. They replaced the M36 tunic, displaying many small manufacturing and design differences, most notably with the colour of the collar becoming field grey to match the rest of the tunic.
These tunics are detailed reproductions of the M40s worn by Troops in the German Heer during WW2. They have been developed directly from an original, full of original features such as:
- 5 pebbled Field Grey buttons on the front
- Mounting for collar liner (available separately)
- Removable white piped shoulder tabs
- Wool/Polyester blenc Field Grey material and cotton liner
- 4 external pockets and 1 internal bandage pocket

Does the tunic come with belt hooks? If not how do I attach them to the tunic?

This tunic does not come with belt hooks, they would need to be purchased separately. To attach them you would need to hook them into the loops on the tunic, and then sew them into place.Answered by Admin on 04 Apr 2023
