An impressive World War 2 reproduction of a German M36 gabardine greatcoat.
This wonderful coat has a smart dark green collar. There are a pair of large slash style waist pockets with covering flap. The coat fastens with a double row of iconic German army silver pebbled buttons. There is a belt on the reverse with silver pebbled buttons to provide a more comfortable fit. The coat has large French style cuffs as well as being lined with brown Rayon. These tunics are made from a grey gabardine wool.
These great quality coats would make a fine addition to any collection.
We have sized these below to be worn over the tunic. If you do not wish to wear one over the tunic we recommend going a size lower for the best fit.

A Waffen SS General would not have any piping or collar tabs on a great coat as these elements should be visible on the tunic when the top of the coat is opened. The only insignia the greatcoat should include is shoulder boards, arm eagle and cuff titles.Answered by Admin on 15 Aug 2022

So with the above sizing information in mind, with a natural size 43” chest, without wearing one over a tunic, what would be my best option?
