This winter coat is an accurate reproduction of the German Waffen-SS Winter-Wendeanzug introduced in late 1944. Developed after bitter winter fighting on the Eastern Front, this second-pattern parka replaced earlier field-grey models with Eichenlaubmuster (Oakleaf) camouflage to improve seasonal concealment in shifting terrain.

The parka is made from a heavy, wind-resistant cotton shell insulated with a thick fleece lining. One side displays the brown-orange tones of Autumn Oakleaf camouflage, whilst the reverse features flat winter white. It includes pebbled metal buttons on the camo side, smooth white buttons on the reverse, and padded elbow panels.

Designed specifically to fit comfortably over standard field service tunics, this parka features an adjustable waistband drawcord and strap cuffs to retain body heat. The oversized hood includes drawstrings to fit over M40 and M42 helmets, whilst reinforced elbows protect against wear during prone field operations.
