Description
The 11th Armoured Division, popularly known as the Black Bulls, was an armoured division of the British Army which first came into being in March 1941. The division was formed in response to the unanticipated success shown by the Panzer divisions during the early portion of the war. The 11th Armoured saw action across Northern and Central Europe and served with particular distinction during the D-Day landings of 1944.
Our reproduction patches have been crafted with accuracy in mind. Made from yellow wool, and featuring the black bull insignia of the division, these patches are finished with a raw edge for historical authenticity. Measuring only 4cm x 5cm, these formation patches stand well-suited to be paired with a uniform for a period-accurate impression.
