- Complete historical setup: Includes canvas cover, aluminium bottle, and metal cup.
Built for field use, the heavy-duty cotton canvas cover protects the aluminium bottle. During WWI, US Mounted Troops, controlled the temperature of the canteen by keeping it warmer in the cold environments, and by soaking the cover to keep it cool during warmer conditions. A soft wool lining enhances protection, and a metal chain keeps the screw-top lid secure. It features a metal carabiner for easy attachment to saddles, and the 'JT & L 1918' markings on the inside flap add historical detail, making it perfect for WW1 Mounted Cavalry impressions.
