Original South African SADF 70 Pattern Small Pack
Original South African 70 Pattern Small Pack
The South African 70 Pattern Webbing was used by both South African Defence Forces and the South West African Police, replacing the earlier 61 Pattern. The South African 70 Pattern was based on the popular British 58 Pattern webbing, with some adjustments for the hotter African climate. The webbing sets were used extensively by South African forces during the 1970’s and 1980’s.
This small pack features a large flap covering that is secured with a loop system. A magazine pouch sits either side of the main compartment. This pack has a strap for securing around the body which is held on with metal clips and D-rings. There is also a loop on the rear for attaching to a belt or webbing. The South African 70 Pattern webbing is renounced for its hard wearing and durability.
An excellent surplus South African 70 Pattern Small Pack that is both tough and durable.
