Description
These US Army Riggers Pouches were a staple of airborne equipment during WW2, often seen worn by American paratroopers who carried 2-3 of these around their waist. Designed at the unit level, there was natural variation in production, with this lift-the-dot fastening type being commonly used during the North Africa and Italian campaigns, though it also remained in use through D-Day and Operation Market Garden. The tie-down variant, however, became more prevalent later in the war.
