Reproduction German Luftwaffe DAK Tropical Shirt, in tan cotton.
These 'Hemden' are made from a lighter cotton than their standard blue counterparts, and are designed to be worn under the tunic in tropical or desert conditions. These tan shirts are great reproductions of those issued to members of the Luftwaffe serving with the Deutsches Afrika Korps (DAK) in North Africa during WW2.
They are buttoned halfway down the front with tan buttons. They also have a pair of pockets on the chest and buttoned cuffs, just like the originals. In addition to this, they also have a shoulder board button and loop on each shoulder for epaulettes.
Great quality reproduction tropical shirts, great for reenactments focusing on the DAK, and ideal as part of your WW2 German Luftwaffe uniform.
Please note: batch received in Jan 2025 has darker buttons than those shown in the images. They are, however, still historically accurate.
