German WW2 1st Pattern Fallschirmjager Boots
German WW2 1st Pattern Fallschirmjager Boots
German paratroopers, or Fallschirmjager, were issued with perhaps the most bespoke equipment in the German military. The ‘Jack Boot’, which was the standard-issue amongst other infantry units, was not suitable for Fallschirmjager troops as the boots did not provide enough ankle support during rough parachute landings.
These are the 1st pattern FJ boots, reflecting the side-lacing boots used between 1937 to mid-1941 (after this the boots would be front lacing, and can be found here).
Features:
- Side laces - brown leather, and black rope
- 100% leather
- Punched eyelets
- True to originals
These black leather boots come complete with laces and are a must for WW2 German reenactment.
