WW2 German Second Pattern Fallschirmjager Boots by Fredericci
German paratroopers, or Fallschirmjager, were issued with perhaps the most bespoke equipment in the German military. The ‘Jack Boot’, which was standard issue amongst other infantry units, was not suitable for Fallschirmjager troops as the boots did not provide enough ankle support during rough parachute landings.
From 1937 to mid 1941 side-lacing boots were standard issue, before being replaced with this more conventional front lacing boots in late 1941.
These exceptional, hand-crafted boots are made in Europe with 100% leather, with a wooden midsole and leather sole. The heel is 3cm high, and the toes and heel are reinforced.
