German 'Panzerplatten' Crackers
These hard crackers are longlasting, and as such are used during military campaigns in place of perishable foods. They are included in every military ration, and known as Panzerplatten - Armour Plates.
The recipe and packaging of these German 'Panzerplatten' Crackers provide resistance to environmental influences such as humidity, heat, and cold.
Ingredients:
Soft wheat flour, sugar, partially hydrogenated sunflower fat, glucose, salt, raising agents: (sodium bicarbonate, ammonium bicarbonate, sodium metabisulfite).
These Panzerplatten crackers are well known in Germany, both with civilians and servicemen.
