German Army EM Infantry Mounted Collar Tabs.
The white strips denote the wearer as an enlisted man of the mounted infantry. This form of identification has been used by German Armies since the 19th century and is still used by the Bundeswehr today.
Embroidered collar patches with white waffenfarbe on dark green wool.
The collar tabs measure approximately 7.5 x 4 cm.

Is this historically accurate for this to go on a German ww2 m43 tunic? Or should I use different collar tabs?

Historically, it is inaccurate for these collar tabs to be applied to the German WW2 M43 tunics. The correct collar tabs to be sewn onto this particular tunic would be the WW2 German Pre-Made Infantry Bevo Litzen Collar Tabs - SKU9260B.Answered by Admin on 11 Oct 2023
