The Blood Order Medal (Blutorden-Medaille), officially known as the Decoration in Memory of 9 November 1923, was one of the highest honours awarded by the Nazi Party (NSDAP). Instituted in March 1934 by Adolf Hitler, the medal commemorated the failed Beer Hall Putsch coup which took place in Munich. This prestigious decoration recognised those who demonstrated exceptional loyalty to the NSDAP during its early struggles.
