1914 Iron Cross 1st Class Pinback With 1939 Spange Bar

Reproduction 1914 Iron Cross 1st Class Pinback With 1939 Spange Bar.

It was possible for a holder of the 1914 Iron Cross to be awarded a second or higher grade of the 1939 Iron Cross.

For the 1st Class award, the Spange appears as an eagle with the date 1939 that was pinned above the Cross.

Although they are two separate awards, recipients often soldered them together. And here's some we've made earlier!

This insignia features both the bar and cross as one piece, and has a flat pin back for fitting.
