WW2 US Monogram Collar Discs - Domed
Pair of domed US monogram collar discs.
These original discs are made with gold-coloured metal and come with the maker's mark on the reverse. They measure approx. 1 inch in diameter, and are sold with the original card backing of the company.
During the war, they were made in a single piece to conserve materials, but these post-war badges are constructed in a two-piece fashion and come with two clutch pins on the reverse for fastening to the lapels. The insignia itself is detachable from the disc and would have been worn separately by officers.
Ideal for US reenactment, or for collectors!
