Every WW2 Russian Soldier impression needs Shoulder Boards, these raspberry piped versions are made for the Soviet Infantry and depict the rank of Senior Officer. The shoulder board themselves are made with a rough yet authentic feeling woollen backing, with raspberry piping on the outside and two red stripes down the middle which denotes the rank.
Shoulder boards weren't introduced into the red army until 1943. They replaced the collar tabs and became standard after a uniform change.
These shoulder boards are a must for anyone looking to add detail to their WW2 Soviet Army impression.
