The WWII Russian M35 Gimnasterka Tunic is a carefully crafted reproduction of the iconic uniform worn by the Red Army during the later stages of the Great Patriotic War. Introduced in 1935, this tunic was designed to evoke the powerful spirit of Russian military tradition, drawing inspiration from the Czarist-era Gimnasterka tunics worn during World War I. Its historical significance, combined with the rugged and practical design, made it a symbol of the Soviet military resurgence in the face of foreign invasion.
The tunics are made from a tightly woven khaki cotton, and are available in a range of sizes by chest size and length. The buttons on the chest of the tunic are covered by a strip of cloth, and there are two chest pockets either side, secured by a button and loop.
