In 1935 the Red Army of Soviet Russian introduced a new line of uniforms for soldiers, which included the emergence of the Pilotka Side Cap. These fantastic quality reproduction WW2 Russian Artillery Officers Pilotka Caps complete with a Soviet red star cap badge. Made from a tightly woven dark green wool, the caps also feature red piping and a black backing to the cap badge. The badge itself is great quality, made from metal with an enamelled front and two prongs on the reverse for attaching to the cap. There is also a soft brown leather internal headband.
