This WW2 Luftwaffe M40 Fliegerbluse is a stunning reproduction of the 1940 pattern flight blouse worn by Luftwaffe personnel throughout World War II. Evolved from the 1935 model and derived from field blouses worn by German troops in World War I, this "Flight Blouse" was the standard day-to-day uniform for Luftwaffe airmen.

The M40 pattern introduced key updates, such as two external flapped pockets and a field dressing pocket on the inside right, enhancing both practicality and functionality. Additionally, there are two internal chest pockets, often used to carry a Soldbuch or other essential items, closed by a tab and button. The blouse's design also includes five hidden buttons on the front, maintaining the sleek, fly-fronted look typical of the Luftwaffe.
