WW2 German Water Bottle - Repro

WW2 Reproduction German Water Bottle.

These metal canteens hold approximately 750ml of liquid, and have a black plastic screw-on lid.

They were used in the field with a felt cover which served to insulate the contents against the cold, or could be soaked in water to keep the contents cool. A Bakelite or aluminium cup completed the set, with a leather strap used to hold the items together, which featured a small hook for attaching the bottle to the bread bag.

Please note that we would not recommend drinking from this item without first giving them a thorough clean and sterilisation.
