This German U-boat cap badge represents the axe emblem worn by the crew of the U-3002.

The unique axe cap badge, known historically as the 'Hack', was the crew emblem for the German submarine U-3002. This advanced Type XXI Elektroboot was commissioned in August 1944. Under the command of Helmut Manseck and later Hermann Kaiser, the crew wore this distinctive emblem on their side caps in the Baltic Sea.
This accurate reproduction is made from lightweight aluminium in Germany. It features a realistic semi-matte finish that mirrors the appearance of original zinc cap badges. The piece measures about 45mm in length and is stamped with clean edges, capturing the exact profile of the wartime hatchet insignia.
To attach the badge to your Kriegsmarine Schiffchen side cap or peaked cap, simply sew through the four pre-drilled holes.
