WW2 German SS Proficiency Runes Badge Box
A smart presentation box for Germanic Proficiency Runes medal in bronze or silver.
Issued as a sports badge to Non-Germanic members of the Germanic-SS serving in German occupied countries. The badge was issued in Bronze and Silver depending on physical prowess. These would have been manufactured by Leistungsgemeinschaft der deutschen Ordenhersteller (LDO), the organisation responsible for the order distribution, the raw material allocation as well as the quality of medals and the companies that manufactured them in Nazi Germany.
Complete with silver inscription on the lid, smart textured black exterior, tidy closure button, white satin and black velvet interior with slot for the rear of the medal.
The box measures approximately 8.2 x 8.2 x 3.4 cm.
