WW2 German Social Welfare Decoration - 2nd Class.

These medals were introduced to reward outstanding commitment to the field of social welfare. The award was presented in 3 classes, although a diamond class award was awarded once, to the wife of the Prime Minister of Romania during WW2. This is the 2rd Class variant of the award.

The medal features the eagle at the centre of a cross made from a zinc alloy, The badge is vaulted, and comes with the correct pin back for this class.

Although a Replica this has the look and the feel of a quality item. Making this German order a thing of beauty. Epic Millitaria at its best I suspect.
