WW2 German Qualified Cloth Luftwaffe Air Gunner Badge
First awarded in 1942, this badge was awarded to air gunners, flight engineers, and aircrew meteorologists, who had undertaken two months of training or had taken part in at five operational flights.
This badge features an embroidered national eagle and a swastika in grey thread surrounded by a white wreath, on a grey wool backing.
