Fantastic reproductions of a Pervitin tube, instructions, and wooden box.Â
Methamphetamine was sold in tablet form under the name Pervitin during the Second World War, and was used by the Wehrmacht and Third Reich as it was known for its stimulant effects. Whilst it did keep soldiers awake for longer and increase performance, the side effects were too great and by 1940 the army had cut back on its usage. By 1941 it was strictly prescription only.
An authentic reproduction which would make an excellent addition to your WW2 German Doctor or Soldier kit.
