Great reproductions of the Panzerschreck anti-tank rocket launcher as used by German Infantrymen during WW2.

 

Based on the design of captured US bazookas, the Panzerschreck was both larger and heavier with an 88mm calibre in comparison to the bazooka's 60mm calibre. These are the Raketenpanzerbüchse 54 models which were fitted with a blast shield to protect the operator, and allowed the use of the weapon without the protective poncho and a gas mask which were required for earlier models. Unlike the Panzerfaust the Panzerschreck was a reusable weapon, it fired the RPzBGr 4322 fin-stabilised, shaped-charge grenade which was capable of penetrating all known tank armour of the era. These replica Panzerschrecks are not supplied with any rockets.

These great reproductions have been made from an original with every detail in mind. The Launcher Tube measures 1.64m in length, just like the originals, and is complete with a dummy firing mechanism for a realistic feel. The cocking handle can first be pulled back to set the mechanism for loading, then the spring-loaded safety button can be pressed to prepare to fire. Finally, you can pull the trigger to fire! The Shield comes unattached, and can easily be put onto the weapon as you can see in the photo. It is finished with a small glass window for sighting.

- Proof of requirement for use in conjunction with employment e.g. a letter from a commanding officer confirming the use is for the purpose of employment.
