WW2 German Mess Tin Strap
During the Second World War, German soldiers were supplied with mess tin straps to secure their tins shut.
These high-quality, true-to-original repros are made with durable, sturdy, black leather and feature three loops, as well as a silver-coloured buckle to secure the strap and mess tin to your belt.
The straps measure approx. 65 x 2cm, and have been designed for use with the classic WW2 German Mess Tins, reproductions of which can be found here.
It's only small, but adding this little detail to your kit will give that extra bit of authenticity to your impression.
