Antique WW2 German Luftwaffe Flak Badge, also known as 'Flak - Kampfabzeichen der Luftwaffe'. The badge was awarded to those in the Flak military unit who were able to shoot down a minimum of 5 enemy air crafts.
The badge was instituted in January, 1941 after being introduced by Goring. The badge features the Flak artillery gun and has a vertical pin on the reverse.
The Luftwaffe Flak Badge was awarded to Luftwaffe personnel of the Flak Unit who distinguished themselves against enemy aerial attacks.
