Quality reproduction of the World War Two German Infantry Assault (Infanterie Sturmabzeichen) badge.
These badges were originally issued from 1939 onwards, and were awarded to soldiers of both the Waffen-SS and the Wehrmacht Heer.
This is the Silver Class version, which was awarded to the following:
- Soldiers who had participated in 3 or more infantry assaults, or counter attacks.
- Soldiers who had engaged in hand-to-hand combat in an assault position.
- Soldiers who had participated in 3 or more armed recon missions.
