Our Afrika Korps Helmet Decal is the perfect finishing touch for any accurate portrayal. The meticulous details on the emblem help immerse yourself in the wartime Afrika Korp Soldier. The emblem features a palm tree with the Swastika in front of the trunk. The other features the German tri-colours shield.
Once you’ve purchased your helmet decals, you can simply apply them to your helmet by following the instructions below.
- Cut the decal to shape, accurately.
- Rest the decal sheet on a wet kitchen towel until the blue backing card is saturated and the decals move freely on the card.
- Using a small paintbrush, place a few drops of water on the helmet where you want the decals placed.
- Carefully remove the transfer from the card and place it on the helmet. Use a paintbrush to move into place.
- With a dry towel, carefully press the decal onto the helmet and remove excess water.
- Allow to dry and cure for a few hours.
- Apply a clear lacquer spray so the decals stay on.

The Afrika Korps was formed on 11 January 1941 and Erwin Rommel was designated commander. The German Africa Corp had a total size of 33,500 men and was active between the 21st of February and the 13th of May 1943.
