Description
Our reproduction of the WW2 German Gas Mask Canister is made from strong, tough steel and is the field grey colour notorious of the German Army. Your vital kit comes with a strap that can be attached to the outside of the container. Inside is an elongated space for masks and filters – a small lens case sits on the inside of the lid. This product does not come with the gas mask and is just the canister.
Germany did not tend to use gas during the Second World War because of fears that the Allied forces would retaliate with more. Churchill also advocated the use of gas however the joint planning staff advised against it because it would provoke gas retaliation.
These tops-of-the-range reproductions are a vital piece of kit for any re-enactment.
