WW2 German Cholm Shield
This is a reproduction of the World War Two German Cholm Shield.
This award was instituted in July 1942 and was awarded to troops who had fought in the Cholm/Kholm pocket on the Eastern Front south of Leningrad from 23 January 1942 until 5 May 1942.
The award was to be worn on the upper left arm of the recipients uniform - if another such award was gained they could be worn one above the other, separated by a space of 5mm.
This shield is supplied with a field grey backing cloth as standard should you wish either a luftwaffe blue or Panzer black backing instead please e-mail us at the time of purchase to request this
