This Superb Reproduction EM/NCOs Belt Buckle is an excellent replica of the belt buckle worn by all regular troops of the German Heer (Army) during World War II. First introduced in 1936, after the fall of the Weimar Republic, the design retained much of its original form but now prominently displayed the Wehrmacht eagle. This buckle became a universal accessory for the Heer.

Description
The design of the buckle features a slightly domed motif of the Heer eagle, surrounded by oak leaves and encircled by the phrase "GOTT MIT UNS" (God With Us), an iconic phrase on German military buckles. The outer edge is bordered with a twisted rope design. On the rear, the buckle is equipped with twin prongs on the right side for secure attachment to the belt, along with a catch on the left.
Historically, the belt buckle had a leather tab attached to secure it to the belt, but as the war progressed and material shortages became more pressing, the leather tab was omitted to save resources. There was also a noticeable difference in finish between the "Early War" and "Mid to Late War" buckles. Early models often featured a pebbled texture around the emblem, while later models were manufactured with a smooth finish—although some manufacturers continued to produce pebbled versions until the war's end.
